Shipping & Deliveries

We ship goods to all areas of Mainland UK including Northern Ireland and Isle of Man. For shipping for the rest of the Channel Island and outside the UK please contact us on our Phone Number or you can also send as an e-mail via our contact page on the website and we will advise you accordingly.


Shipping & Delivery Details

There are a number of postal options available at the checkout. Please take into account the value of your order when deciding your postal option as this will determine compensation if your item is lost, damaged or delayed by Royal Mail.

1. Quantity Rate. This is Royal Mail first class delivery and costs are dependant on the number of products purchased and start at £4.25. This is not a tracked service but we do retain proof of sending. Our single item gift boxes are usually ‘letterbox friendly’, allowing you to receive the parcel in your absence. Royal Mail First Class postal service usually takes 1-3 working days. Compensation up to a value of £20 is available if your order is lost with this option. See below for more information.

2. Royal Mail Signed For at £6.40. For bulky and fragile items such as the wedding chocolate heart boxes / Easter eggs / Moulded products we advise you to opt for this service. For extra peace of mind this service provides proof of delivery and up to £50 compensation.

3. Royal Mail Special Delivery at £9.60. This is a guaranteed timed service for valuable or important items that need to be there tomorrow. This service provides over £50 compensation.

Please note that it will take 4 weeks to award compensation for lost/ damaged goods as we are unable to process the Royal Mail Claim until 10 working days have elapsed post delivery date ( approximately 3 weeks ). A claim for delayed items can be made by the recipient within 1 month of receipt of postal, this information and proof of sending can be emailed to you.

Please note that we have been advised by Royal Mail that during exceptional circumstances such as the Covid-19 pandemic, delivery time guarantees may be subject to change. Also during busy seasonal periods such as Christmas and Easter, delivery will be subject to delays and we advise you to consider this when placing your order.

Orders are processed Monday-Friday only, excluding bank holidays. Your order will be processed the following working day if received before 1pm. Should there be any delay to your order we will contact you with the details.

We will deliver the products ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order. It is, however, your responsibility to provide us with accurate delivery address details. We will not check or verify addresses and messages supplied by you.

You will become the owner of the products you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once products have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction. All of our products have been thoroughly transit tested and caprefully packed to ensure they arrive to you in perfect condition. In the event that your order does arrive damaged, please do not worry. Goods that are delivered damaged should be returned intact to Rainbow Organic Chocolates, 92 Richmond Road, BN2 3RN  and a new order will be sent on receipt of damaged goods. Postage will be paid by Rainbow Organic Chocolates. If your goods cannot be delivered for any reason and are returned to us, the cost of the goods will be refunded in full less the postage cost.

We currently deliver to addresses in the UK only.
